JOBS OHIO & HEALTHCARE SECTOR: LEARN WHAT THEY ARE UP TO?

Chicu Success Team attended Innovate New Albany Event, Introduction to JobsOhio & the Healthcare Sector, on Dec 7, 2022. The presenter was Joshua Hoffman, Director Healthcare at Jobs Ohio. Here are some takeaways from the event.

1) Growing Sectors in Healthcare include Advanced Therapies, Big Data, Digital Health, Artificial Intelligence and Clinical Decisions. Ohio’s Innovation Strategy grew at 60% above national rate.

2)  1.3 Billion Venture Capital was invested in Life Sciences in 2021.

3)  Jobs Ohio Growth Capital is Late Seed to Series Fund. They make about 250K to 3M in investments.

4)  Jobs Ohio has traditional programs including Tax Credits, Grant Loans and Workforce Development.
